Here's something important you should know

Many symptoms people link to allergies are actually caused by food sensitivities. These reactions are delayed, harder to identify, and often dismissed as "digestive issues."

If you're dealing with bloating, headaches, fatigue or skin flare-ups, a sensitivity test is more likely to give you answers - no need to wait for our Allergy Tests to launch.

Food sensitivity is common - but often overlooked

1 in 4 U.S. adults

19%
of U.S. adults believe they suffer from food allergies, but only about 10.8 % are likely allergic. The rest may be dealing with sensitivities instead.[2]
76%
noticed improvement in their symptoms by removing flagged items.
92%
saw the symptoms come back when reintroducing the trigger foods.

That's why our Sensitivity Tests are available right now

Why Choose a Bioresonance test?

Bioresonance testing offers a non-invasive, holistic way to start understanding how your body responds to the world around you.

By measuring energetic responses to a wide range of substances, it can help highlight potential intolerances that may be contributing to symptoms like bloating, fatigue, skin issues, or brain fog. Our Intolerance tests can be a valuable first step in your wellness journey - giving you insight into possible triggers and empowering you to make more informed choices about your diet, environment and lifestyle.

Expert insights: Why testing matters

Real advice from the professionals who help people understand their symptoms and feel better every day

Dr Gareth James

Medical Director | MBBS, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP

"Many people assume their symptoms are caused by allergies, when in reality most cases I see in clinic are due to hidden food sensitivities. These reactions can be delayed, subtle and very difficult to trace without proper testing.

When patients identify their triggers, it gives them clarity - and often a noticeable improvement in day-to-day symptoms like bloating, fatigue, headaches or low mood. Understanding what your body is reacting to is one of the most empowering steps you can take for your long-term wellbeing."

Molly Harvey-Love

Nutritionist | (DipCNM, AFMCP, mBANT)

"So many people come to us feeling frustrated - eating 'healthy', but still dealing with discomfort. Sensitivity testing helps highlight the foods that quietly disrupt digestion, hormones and energy levels.

Once you know what's affecting you, you can make simple swaps that support the gut, improve energy and help you feel more balanced. It's not about restriction - it's about clarity and confidence."

Boxie McGee

Nutritionist | dipIIN, IAFHH

"One of the biggest changes I see after someone receives their results is relief. People finally understand why they feel the way they do - and we can build a personalised plan that actually works for their body.

When you remove the foods causing stress, the body has space to recover. Skin calms, bloating reduces, energy improves — and people feel more in control of their health again."

FAQ

These terms are often confused, but they describe very different reactions in the body:

Food Allergy
• Involves the immune system producing IgE antibodies.
• Reactions are usually immediate (minutes to 2 hours).
• Symptoms can include hives, swelling, difficulty breathing, or even anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening.
• Food allergies can only be confirmed with a blood sample (IgE testing) or a skin prick test performed by a medical professional.

Food Intolerance
• Linked to the immune system producing IgG antibodies.
• Reactions are delayed, often showing up hours or even days later.
• Symptoms are less severe but can include bloating, fatigue, headaches, skin issues, and digestive discomfort.
• IgG intolerance testing can help identify potential trigger foods to guide dietary adjustments.

Food Sensitivity
• A broader term often used for non-allergic, non-IgG responses.
• Can include reactions to foods, drinks, or environmental factors (like pollen, pet dander, or chemicals).
• Symptoms can overlap with intolerances, making them difficult to pinpoint without testing.
• Bioresonance sensitivity testing (hair analysis) provides insights into potential sensitivities and imbalances, supporting wellness choices.

In summary:
• Allergies (IgE) are immediate and can be dangerous.
• Intolerances (IgG) are delayed and affect well-being.
• Sensitivities (often non-food) are broader and may be linked to environmental or lifestyle triggers.

The main difference is in how the tests work and what they measure:

Blood-based intolerance tests (IgG) measure actual antibody levels in your blood, providing a clinical analysis of how your immune system responds to specific foods. They are scientifically validated and give precise insights into delayed food reactions.

Bioresonance sensitivity tests (hair analysis) use a non-invasive method to analyze the energetic frequencies of a hair sample. This approach can highlight a broader range of potential sensitivities — including foods, drinks, and environmental factors — but it is not a medical diagnostic tool.

Many people choose blood testing for a more clinical, science-based assessment, while bioresonance offers a holistic wellness perspective that can complement lifestyle and dietary improvements.

Our tests are ideal for people who experience ongoing symptoms such as bloating, fatigue, headaches, skin issues, or digestive discomfort without a clear cause.

They’re also helpful if you suspect certain foods or environmental factors may be affecting your energy, mood, or overall wellness, but you can’t pinpoint which ones.

Testing provides personalized insights to guide smarter dietary and lifestyle choices.

Our tests are designed to be simple and minimally invasive:

Blood tests
You’ll use a small, single-use lancet to collect a few drops of blood from your fingertip. Most people describe it as a quick pinch that’s over in seconds.

Bioresonance sensitivity tests
These are completely pain-free, requiring only a small hair sample that you can cut at home.

We only need a small sample — around 4 to 5 strands of hair, at least 1 inch long. That’s about the thickness of a pencil lead, so you won’t notice a difference. The hair can come from your head or, if needed, another area of the body. Colored or treated hair is fine.

Blood tests (IgG or IgE)
Suitable for children aged 2 years and older. Under age 2, the immune system is still developing, which may affect test accuracy. Parents should always assist with collection, and consult a pediatrician if their child has existing allergies or health concerns.

Bioresonance sensitivity tests
Safe for children of any age, since only a small hair sample is required and the process is completely non-invasive.

Blood tests (IgG or IgE)
We don’t recommend them during pregnancy or breastfeeding because immune responses and antibody levels can fluctuate, which may affect results. It’s usually best to wait until after this period.

Bioresonance sensitivity tests
These are safe during pregnancy, as they are non-invasive and require only a hair sample. However, always check with your healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes while pregnant.

Allergy (IgE) tests
Certain medications, such as antihistamines, steroids, or immunosuppressants, may impact results. Speak with your doctor before testing.

Intolerance (IgG) tests
Most medications do not affect results, though long-term immunosuppressive therapy or steroids may reduce antibody levels.

Bioresonance sensitivity tests
Medications generally do not affect the analysis, since the test measures hair sample frequencies.

Once we’ve received your sample at our CLIA-certified laboratory, you’ll receive your test results via email in just 3-5 working days.

You’ll receive an easy-to-read report via email, along with guidance and support on your next steps.

Blood-Based Intolerance & Allergy Test Kits
Once your order is confirmed, your kit is shipped via a tracked courier service. Delivery usually takes 2–3 business days. Each kit contains everything you need to collect your blood sample at home, plus a prepaid return envelope to send it straight back to our CLIA certified laboratory.

Bioresonance Sensitivity Tests (Hair Analysis)
With bioresonance tests, there is no physical kit sent out. Instead, you’ll receive a unique digital activation code along with our lab address. Simply place a small hair sample into a grip-seal bag, pop it into a standard envelope, and mail it back using your preferred postal service.

📦 Eco-Friendly:
Our bioresonance process is faster, saves packaging, reduces courier deliveries, and lowers our carbon footprint — making it the most sustainable way to test.

As soon as your sample arrives at our lab, we’ll confirm receipt by email and SMS so you know it’s safely in processing.

Please be aware that different methods of post can take different lead times to arrive. USPS delivery times for addresses within the U.S. vary by shipping service, from overnight with Priority Mail Express, to over 5 days with Parcel Select Ground.

Bioresonance Sensitivity Test (Hair analysis)
Bioresonance testing looks at the energetic frequencies of a hair sample to identify potential imbalances. It does not measure immune antibodies or diagnose allergies. For this reason, a confirmed allergy may not appear in your bioresonance results. You should still avoid allergens identified by a medical professional, regardless of your sensitivity results.

Hair food sensitivity tests, also known as bioresonance sensitivity tests, are designed as a wellness screening tool rather than a medical diagnostic. They analyze energetic responses from a small hair sample to highlight potential imbalances with foods, drinks, and environmental items.

At Check My Body Health, our Food Sensitivity Test is processed in an ISO 9001 accredited laboratory, ensuring consistent quality and reliability. While bioresonance is not medically approved or used in NHS diagnostics, many people find the results provide valuable, affordable insights into possible triggers for symptoms such as bloating, fatigue, and skin irritation.

In summary: hair food sensitivity tests are not a substitute for medical testing, but when carried out in a quality-assured lab, they can offer a cost-effective and trustworthy way to explore potential sensitivities and guide lifestyle changes.
