What's tested

Our Advanced Allergy Test uses Immunoglobulin E (IgE) testing to measure your body’s immune response to specific allergens. IgE is a type of antibody associated with allergic reactions. By analysing the levels of allergen-specific IgE in your blood, this test identifies how your immune system reacts to 117 different items.

Reactivity is measured by analysing the levels of allergen-specific IgE antibodies in your blood, presented as quantitative measurements in IU/mL. Each allergen is assigned a reactivity marker, ranging from Class 0 (No Reactivity) to Class 6 (Severe Reactivity). The results are also colour-coded, making it simple to identify high-priority allergens and understand your body’s immune response at a glance.

Your blood test results include your reactivity ratings to the items analysed in your chosen test. Our test results are comprehensive but simple to follow and explain in full what everything means to make sure you fully understand it.

Once we’ve received your sample at our CLIA-certified laboratory, you’ll receive your test results via email in just 3-5 working days.

You’ll receive an easy-to-read report via email, along with guidance and support on your next steps.

You don’t need any medical knowledge or training to read our test results, as everything is laid out to make them quick and easy to understand.

As soon as our CLIA-certified lab has received your blood sample we will send you an email & SMS to let you know your sample has arrived safely.

Whilst we allow blood allergy and intolerance testing from the age of 2 and above, there is evidence to show that allergies are not fully developed until the age of 7. Our advice would be to check with a medical professional before purchasing.
